Cancel tactical grenades
i know we can cancel a lethal grenade once it's out by pressing the 'Y' button, but this doesn't seem to work for tactical grenades, e.g. smoke. Does anyone know if there's a way to cancel tactical...

In previous titles you would be correct but in BO2 you can also cancel tacticals by pressing Y or Triangle on PS3. I do it all the time.

But I've tried and it doesn't work for me. What on earth can I be doing wrong? Does it work for you with a smoke grenade?

I'm pretty sure it did but I don't run smoke enough to know. However, I do know that it works on Concussions, Flashes, and EMPs as I use those regularly. You have to be still holding the grenade when...

Thanks for the replies, guys. I finally figured it out. When you're throwing a lethal with RB, you just have to hold the Y button while you release the RB to cancel the throw and re-draw your weapon....
